Transient rash on one quadrant of face

Hello

i have actually spoken to a GP and shown pics of this. They have no concerns but we’re only able to suggest hypotheses not really say what it is. I’m not particularly worried as this has come and gone a few times without even really upsetting my daughter, but still I would love to hear even that others experienced this even if they also don’t know quite what it is.

On several occasions (maybe 5 or 6 now. My 5 month old daughter has developed a red blotchy rash on the top right quadrant of her face. When this has happened she has either been crying ir has just coughed ir sneezed. I feel like it may be sinus related for this reason. The rash comes on quickly and then gradually disappears within about 20 minutes. The gp suggested it was histamine related - hives I guess. I suppose this makes sense but it doesn’t seem to bother her ie I don’t think it’s itchy.

as I said, just really hoping someone else will have experienced it really.

Apologies for typos - written in the dark at someone’s bedtime ☺️
