Breastfeeding help

I have been combi feeding for 4 weeks, I breastfeed and also give bottles of expressed milk and formula.

The issue we have is that when breastfeeding he becomes absolutely furious after a few minutes. He's sucking and swallowing but he gets in a right state. I can feed for up to ten minutes before this happens. He's then too worked up to latch on again and either falls asleep or will need a few oz from a bottle.

Anyone had similar?

Breast feeding is harder work for them, he’s wanting the easy option !

I EBF my 10 week old and get this sometimes. I read that sometimes if you have a fast let down they can struggle to swallow so will struggle a bit and squirm. I tend to lay back a bit when this happens or sometimes lean forwards - which doesn’t make sense but the change in position helps! Other times I just get her off and have a break or swap boobs.

It can be such hard work though 💕
