I have an 8yo dd who is very funny and loves to joke around.
Some of her jokes (only the odd one) though, are mean!
I correct her when I hear one of them which is a bit too close to the bone and explain that most people wouldn't find that funny if it was about them.
Is there anything anyone can think of to do as well as this? I was thinking a swear jar but for jokes which aren't kind, but it would be hard to define which ones would need to go in. Also she is 8 and doesn't really carry cash! Any ideas?
