DD (4.5) still had a dodi - I know, shoot me. She has it at bed time and if she's sneaky enough, any other time she sees it in the house (frustratingly, we'd managed to cut this down to literally just sleep but it's crept back up again).
Her speech is fantastic and she will take it out and just hold it when requested (during playtime etc.) - it doesn't leave the house.
She's just lost her first tooth, so we're taking the opportunity to nip it in the bud completely, and the tooth fairy has left behind a little bag for the dodis to be sent to the dodi fairy tonight.
Bracing myself for a monumental failure and battle. Posting this not for sympathy, just solidarity I think 😅
