Hello, my daughter is becoming a teen and I would like to be able to limit what she can do on her phone. Sky broadband used for have a feature called broadband buddy but this has been discontinued.

I have an android, her mum has an iPhone, daughter has an iPhone. Her mum and I are divorced.

Is there an app which would allow us both to be able to control app time, pause the Internet, lock the phone etc?

Thank you

We could do it via our internet provider. We had all devices logged, then teens WiFi was switched off on his devices at a certain time then came on again in the morning. Can you both do that for each internet provider?

We used OurPact paid version.

I am recently widowed and have 2 DC’s a boy just turned 12 and a 6 yr old girl
im juggling a lot of different things now
due to ptsd my ds is spending a few weeks with his granny who he loves for a few days every week. There’s no rules there , no matter how I appeal, you know how most granny’s are with endless chocolate giving? Well she’s like that too but also with endless iPhone access, zero monitoring and he’s welcome to stay up on it all night if he likes
I really need the help of him staying there are the moment but I’ve always been protective and vigilant with these things. He however is having a ball with this side of things lol
on a serious note, he’s said and done a few things that are aren’t very healthy (not porn etc but he is grieving so has a zillion emotions going on and he’s made some immature choices let’s say)
no amount of negotiations with her or him result in a screen time limit.
i need some tech savvy advice
of I use the basic iPhone parental controls and permissions some apps on his phone get blocked that we really need, like train timetables bizarrely
he’s going to staying at his grandmas part time f or about 8 more weeks so I need to take action
are there any reputable apps that people on here have tried and tested?
im going into the phone shop today too but find the knowledge of the staff in there hit and Miss
thanks if you’ve gotten this far x
