Soft play despair - please cheer me up!

Other mum didn't see the problem in letting her 4 year old jump around and nearly fall onto my 11 month old DS in the tiny kids section, I had to pull him out of the way. Her quote was to shrug it off and say "it's soft play".

Bit of a Mumsnet cliche post but I'm bummed out by it. Shouldn't let it get to me but it's so depressing when other mums abdicate their responsibilities and show zero consideration for other people. I need to build a thicker skin I know.

I'd love to focus instead on the nice stories of lovely mums out there and kind things they've done. I know there are tons.

First one from me. When I was breastfeeding my DS when he was about 3 months old I was out at the shops and he unexpectedly needed a feed so I rushed into a cafe and just sat down and a lovely woman came up and bought me a drink. Wouldn't accept payment, just said to pay it forward to other mums.

Please share any others you have! X
