Help my ds is 3years old and he asks to go to the loo for a wee but most of the time he always wants me to go with him. I know he can manage on his own because he has gone a few times. has anyone any ideas of what i could do. Also he will not do a poo in the toilet he won't even sit on it, as he normally likes to stand when he does a wee. He usually poos in his pants even if i carry quickly upstairs when he says he wants to go, he will hang on and about 5 10 mins later just do it in his pants. hope someone can help, cheers.

Have you tried reward stickers? My ds was a bit iffy about pooing in the loo, but we told him that he got a sticker for a poo in the loo, and lost two for a poo in his pants or in a nappy. It seemed to work, but then he loves going to the loo. (That's another issue )
