Just had a tense mealtime with dds where they were guinea pigs for homemade burgers with added onion, carrot and courgette along with beef mince and egg to bind it. They are so fussy and I want to increase the veg in the diet and reduce processed foods. Burger was a hit with the little one but eldest smelled (tasted?!) a rat and rejected it after trying it. I have to admit, not as nice as shop-bought ones - less flavour and the veg was semi-visible.
Does anyone have foolproof homemade burger recipes? Involving added veggies but tasty and non-detectable by very fussy kids?
