can't get car seat off buggy

we have a mothercare trenton travel system and i just tried to take the car seat off it so i could take dd for a walk and i can't get the car seat off the chassis!!!!!!! oh my god I have broken it. we have another buggy but need the car seat. we're gonna have to get a new one if dh can't do it

how do you mean? it sits on top and clicks in. you pull a handle to release it but not working

Are there sides bits that click over the edges of the seat too? I spent god knows how long trying to unlock my seat from the chassis, only to realise that the side clips were still across.

i don't think there are side bits. thinking i have maybe put it on slightly wrong and now it has locked in wrong position

Can you take it into a Mothercare and ask them to help you?

how bizarre, i have jsut done it. Did exactly same as I always do and tried to do earlier. came off no problem. Panic over!!!

ps wouldn't have been able to take to mothercare as can't put baby in car and can't fold buggy to put in car! but good idea!
