My daughter has just started high school. We’ve only really been allowing her to go out on her own since the beginning of the summer. Yesterday she went to the park with some friends. Due to the heat, she’d drunk a lot of water & unfortunately while they where all laughing she had a small accident, which she didn’t think anyone saw. This has never happened before. She immediately came home & got changed but when she got back one of the boys who when to her primary said she’d wet herself, then they all joined in 😢, even her best friend. She tried to say that it was sweat because it was so hot, but they all just kept going. She’s devastated & doesn’t want to go to school tomorrow. It turns out her best friend has been telling people too. I’ve told her to stick to her story about the sweat but she’s in a real state. What can I do to help my daughter.
