So my 2 year old fell out of our bed last night. The crazy thing is he never sleeps with us… I went downstairs… it was so warm I just needed some air the next thing I know o hear a big bang and tan upstairs DP was picking lb up off the floor and he was so upset. Our bed is quite high. He was fine after 10 mins had a snack and some milk I put the telly on to keep an eye and after an hour he went in back to sleep. Today he’s been absolutely fine we’ve been to the farm he’s had a lovely evening playing. But I just can’t stop worrying… should I be getting him checked over or would I know if something wasn’t right. I’m all of a sudden a bag of nerves.

I would just continue to keep a close eye on him, I wouldn't be taking him to get checked out unless he was showing signs of a head injury.

He’s his happy busy perfect little self 🙏🤞 it’s just my mind working over time now. And not know how he actually landed. The only thing he said hurt was his arm but that was last night he hasn’t even said that today. I’m such a worrier x

If your little one is acting, eating and sleeping as normal then the likelihood is that they are fine. BUT, if you are concerned then book a GP appointment and get them checked over for your peace of mind.

@JumbledE I know I should book. I feel like they will think I’m an absolute lion for using an appointment for it. He’s woke up with a bit of a cough today, although this is regular he finishes nursery on a Thursday and is often coming down with something starting on a Sunday. He’s been fine in himself eating sleeping playing jumping etc. I just worry if there’s anything I’m missing.
