Baby monitor inaccurate temperature

Does your baby monitor seem to be the wrong temperature in this hot weather?! It was 32 yesterday, and today our air con unit arrived, set it up and it was actually cold in DS's room. Yet the monitor still said 29!!! We tried it up on ceiling in the corner (where it usually sits) and down in his cot.

The air con unit is now off and fan is on, and it says 32. Im slightly panicking, but I'm going to hope the temp is completely wrong. Anyone else having the same issue??

My monitor is usually 1 or 2 degrees hotter than the actual temperature (I use a separate ther), possibly due to it heating up the air around it or just being inaccurate. Tonight it is actually 27 degrees and the monitor reads 28 degrees so hot either way. We are on the ground floor of a terrace house so it could easily be 29 degrees if you are upstairs or in a new build.

Mine is always wrong. Says it's 30 in his room. While it's hot it's not 30 degrees. We also bought an air con unit 2 years ago and even when the room in noticeably cool it's still says 25 ect. I just go with how the temp of the baby is now and ignore the temp on the monitor.
