Lonely though I’m surrounded by so many people

Gave birth to our first child nearly 7 weeks ago now. Feels like I’ve been in a little bubble of pure baby bliss for these past few weeks- so eternally grateful for my daughter and all my family and friends. However these past few weeks I’ve just had this crippling feeling of loneliness- though I’m surrounded by so many people and I’m showered by so much love I just feel incredibly LONELY. Can’t wrap my head around this. Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s experienced something like this PP? Any advice is so welcomed! ❤️

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oh love I'm sorry to hear this. While you have people around you, do you have other mum friends yet? Even to text?x

@LizzieWallace I do have a couple and they’ve been great 🙃So really No clueee why I’m like this- my guess is just hormones regulating or something??
Hope it doesn’t last long anyway x

Might be hormones but also it could be that you are not yet used to your new self? You've been through a big change, you're now a mum, your pre-mum self that you knew well has evolved.

Also the responsibility of motherhood can be a lot, and it can feel like that is all on you, which can be lonely.

Keep a close eye on yourself and speak to someone if it doesn't settle.
