Hi everyone, just looking for some positive stories and advice!
I'm due my second baby in a few weeks, but really starting to worry as we go into the winter months.
My first had severe bronchiolitis and was intubated twice at 3 months and 7 months, with a further 5 HDU admissions and several hospital stays. I won't go into too much detail, but it was an incredibly traumatic time. He has has had every test under the sun, no asthma, allergies etc, just freak incidents essentially.
As my due date approaches I am just so worried about newborn catching anything as I immediately stress and worry when my son catches a cold. For context, he is 2.5 and has recently had his first cold that didn't require hospital. So we've come a long way.
Really, just asking if anyone has been in a similar situation with their subsequent children and has any positive stories?
I am speaking to the perinatal MH team at my hospital and also have private sessions with a psychologist, but it would be great to hear from others who may have been in a similar situation.
Thank you x
