the highlight of mothers day was dd (2) peeing on my new suede boots !!! wow. !!!any other non events???.

i didn't get a lie in, DH did. Made my own breakfast. That was about it. Yay! Can't wait for next year's offering

Well, DS's nursery had made an effort and put a colourful craft flower in an envelope. I said to DS "wow, you made that? You clever boy", to which he said "no. what is it?"
DH said that no, he hadn't forgotten Mother's Day, but it was a shame that DS had forgotten, and not got me anything...

I had a lovely day, dc brought me tea & buttered crumpets in bed. Had a lie in,nice pressies Pride & Prejudice dvd, hand cream and a bar of choc. We went for a lovely blustery walk in the afternoon. And dc cooked dinner, jacket potatoes, cheese & salad followed by icecream, blueberries & dulche de leche sauce (dd's invention. This is all the more special because I'm a lone parent and they organised everything together. I'm very proud of my dc!

A card made in nursery fron DS1 and another from DS1 and DS2 (age 8 months) to "the best mummy in the world" written by my soon to be ex H
I thought this was sarcasm however he also got me a new digital camera. Very strange.
