How hot is too hot?

I am in the UK, it's supposed to hit 29 degrees on Saturday and my OH is taking our 5 month old DD out with some friends for the day.
My question is will she be ok out in this temperature? She will obviously be covered in factor 50 and kept in the shade but she is my first baby and I can't help but worry. I know he wouldn't let any harm come to her and I don't want to stop him taking her out if I'm just overthinking things and will be perfectly fine.

Absolutely fine - they survive fine in hot countries all the time. Also, I'm not sure if you're meant to put sun cream on young babies, just keep them in the shade.

Kept in the shade in light cotton clothes she’ll be fine. You’re not meant to use suncream on babies under 6 months, but I did a couple of times with DD as I had a toddler I was chasing and couldn’t always keep he out of the sun

I wasn't aware of the sun cream thing so thank you for that. I think we will get an umbrella for her pushchair instead then, as her feet and legs poke out from under the sunshade on the pushchair!

Id recommend a Snoozeshade, fits better over a buggy and allows the air to circulate. The umbrellas are a pain.

Snoozeshade is wonderful if you can get one x

You particularly don't want to use a waterproof sunscreen as it can inhibit sweating and make her overheat.

Could you order a travel fan that attaches to the pram off Amazon, will help keep her cool. I'd heard about suncream thing but wasn't sure why, I haved used a baby one on her legs and arms before as very difficult to keep in the shade on walks
