Getting 2 yo to pee on potty before going out

So we've just started potty training and so far, so good. She's got it to the point where she will ask to wee and will take herself to the potty and go with very few accidents. I know we're only at the start of the journey so I may be preempting here but my issue is when we put her on the potty or toilet she can't/ won't go so If I put her on after a meal or before bedtime she doesn't go. I'm made up she can self initiate and wee in her potty but I'm worrying about when it comes to leaving the house if I can't get her to do a wee before we go. Any tips or tricks to at least get her to try to go before we go out?

Chocolate button bribery or - those chewy vitamin sweets

We've just made a habit of 'before we go out we sit on the potty and wait' but told her if nothing comes out that's fine but it's just what we do, to take the pressure off. It's 50/50 whether she does one or not. I don't think it's good bladder habit to squeeze one out just because.

Also for going out I cannot recommend a My Carry Potty enough.

was a long time ago now so advice may have changed but Dr told me when I was toilet training mine to avoid trying to force a "just in case" wee as it can cause issues with bladder signals eg fullness, needing to go when not much in there.
My Nan insisted I always try before we left home & even now as a Nan myself I can't bring myself to leave home without "just trying". I also am one of those people that will use a loo if we pass one when we are out " just in case". Nan has a lot to answer for 😁
