So, I got up extra early to ensure my kids are fed dressed and ready for their 1st day back to school. I wanted to make sure it was as stress free for them as possible, especially ds6 who has asd. I got them to school with time to spare so they could quickly catch up with friends they haven't seen for 6 weeks. School was empty. No parents, no kids. I took them back to school a whole day early! Today is an inset day. Kids are back in their p.js having a second breakfast. I've looked at the school calendar so many times. God knows how I missed the big circle around today's date with an inset day above it.
