Backpack dilemmas

We have been using the same rucksack since birth. It's looking grubby and is probably now a bit big for needs. After a break from childcare over the summer I want to get a new bag for 2.5 year old going back to the childminder this September.

For this age, would you get a child's rucksack for their nappies and spare clothes etc and a separate lunch bag for them to hold or would you just get another adult rucksack to be handed over to childminder?

Tight budget so probs overthinking this but don't want to waste my money as these rucksacks and lunch bags don't come cheap!

@daydreamingnightowl adult backpack, it can be used again in the future when you no longer use it for childcare reasons. Only one bag to remember both taking to and coming out of the childminders if the lunch fits inside it.

I would be asking the childminder which is best for her.
