Can anyone whose recently started receiving child benefit for their newborn tell me how long it took from application to receiving first payment?

Hi, I think it took about 3 weeks x

a few weeks but you will get back pay from birth although I think they only do upto 3 months back pay.

They only back pay for up to 3 months. In most situations you can apply online and it's pretty quick and efficient.
