When does it get easier? Struggling to cope

I've read these types of posts on here multiple times, and feels like everyone says it gets easier around 12 weeks (give or take).

I can honestly say it gets harder every day atm. My baby is now 4.5 months. And from the moment he wakes up he moans/cries all day. He can only be content or entertained for 5 minutes at a time. He's definitely not unwell, maybe teething. I've been giving him calpol and anbesol. Doesn't make a difference

Can I hear when other people suddenly found it got easier? I feel like I'm in the minority that it actually getting harder the older he gets. Every day I wake up and think "oh no, not again"

Is this normal? For a 4 months old to moan/cry all day? Im on my knees with exhaustion

Sending my sympathy. That was a really difficult time for DD as her sleep was getting steadily worse.
Re the moaning - i know this gets asked all the time but do you have a sling? I find that it can sometimes be a sign of tiredness and a sling can be the quickest way to get mine to sleep
Really hope you feel better soon

Sorry, DS1 was a really moany, fussy baby so I can sympathise. It came in peaks and troughs and was always significantly worse around periods of development or sleep disturbance. 4-5 months was really rough and it calmed down quite a bit at 6 months when he could sit up and eat…I’m afraid to say though there were awful spells of it throughout the entirety of the first year. It stopped when he could walk and talk. He hated the limitations of being a baby. The only way I survived the 4-6 month period was by basically being out of the house all day, as DS was far more content on walks/at baby groups etc. I hear you with how exhausting it is.
