Hi girls.. Just asking if anyone has ever gone through this and can shed some light on the situation. My partner has recently moved in with me and my son, a 2 bedroom house. He has a daughter who his ex has now said he can’t have her overnight as she doesn’t have her own bedroom. They are going to court soon about a child arrangement order, he wants every other weekend overnight and she is saying no. I have said the weekends she is here I will stay on the sofa or buy a sofa bed. We do intend on moving to a bigger place but right now it isn’t doable, he moved in so we could save money. Can a court say he isn’t allowed overnight stays because of this? I feel so guilty he isn’t allowed to have her overnight. If she agreed to every other weekend we would have her Friday from school till Sunday evening, more quality time as we can actually plan to do things instead of a couple hours 1 day over the weekend.
