Our daughter is 15 months, recently walking and frequently needs scooping up when she trips, dashes off towards hazards etc. My partner has got into the habit of picking her up by the upper arms (just below the shoulder). I'm worried she's going to injure her and have asked her to pick her up under the armpits instead. But she says I'm being unnecessarily fussy. What do you think, Mumsnetters?
