10week old can't lift head at tummy time

Becoming increasingly concerned over my almost 10week old daughter. When I lay her flat on her stomach she can barely lift her head up. Is this normal? She can lift it more when supported on my knee and that's maybe a centre mitre or 2 but seems so floppy on her stomach.

Some babies do take longer than others. You can roll a hand towel up and put under her armpits to help her brace her arms properly to lift her head.

At the next health visitor or well baby check you can show them your baby on her tummy and they will tell you if she’s lifting her head long enough. They do bobble alot when they are little.
