Perfect prep machine

Hi all.

Can anyone advise me on how to prepare a perfect prep machine to be stored and the best way to store it please? We've just finished using it with our son and want to keep hold for any other children we might have. Many thanks in advance for any help.

Not very helpful advice I’m afraid, but we had one for our first baby, finished using it and cleaned thoroughly then left open for several days to dry out completely inside. Then stored in its own original box in the loft. However when we got it out recently for our new baby it smelled of mildew although it looked clean. Ended up throwing it away and buying a new one. They have hidden/inaccessible pipes which I suppose can’t really be cleaned and dried out properly and so when left unused for all that time it’s bound to get mouldy inside 😕
