Little Ewe terry nappies: problems!

How on earth do you fold the wretched things so that they are big enough to go around the waist/through the crotch, but not so bulky as to squash a reflux-y tummy?

I'm most comfortable with the origami fold, but that leaves me with not enough to go front-to-back due to the bulk of the nappy....

Heeeelp?

have you looked on the nappy lady website as they have all the folds on there

What size are your squares?

here is the link to the nappy lady folds list.

If your little one is still small you might be able to use pad folded muslins (if you have any to spare) for a little while. Some poeple find these work for as long as the first 8 weeks or so and they are less bulky while they are tiny.

I used the Jo-fold from the nappy lady site. It tells you to fold each corner into the middle of the square but if that makes it a bit small you just adjust it until it's right (hope that makes sense!)

I fold it into a traingle (so in half) and then fold it over in the middle to make a pad which the liner sits on...

Hmm. Thanks for the links - but I've tried several. The problem I'm having is that in order to get the crotch length I need, the width at the crotch is almost unmanageable.

DD is 3 months old, and 15lbs.

The terries are 60cm ones.

I use 60 cm little ewes on my 4 mth old, he's about 14lb i think (wild guess).

We use the kite fold, then after they're on i sort of tuck in any extra width in on itself aound the crotch and leg. Works for us, and the little ewe terries are wonderful, far better than ones i had from green baby.
