Thermometer

DS is poorly and our current forehead thermometer seems to be giving inaccurate readings. What's best? Forehead or underarm? He is 20 months.

In ear digital thermometers are great (providing you insert them properly). They were very accurate when my little boy had a temperature. The hospital uses armpit ones for babies, but I find they wiggle too much! I don't think forehead ones are very good.

If someone can get out a buy a Braun in ear one, that would be best. They use them in hospital and our is always very accurate.

Thank you both! I did worry about how hard it would be to take his temp with an underarm one and I also like to check him when he's sleeping.
