Relentless night feeding at 7 months

Last night I fed him at 7pm, put him to bed in his cot. He woke up at 1.30 for a feed, he then woke up at 2.15 and fed again. Next he woke up at 3am. Then 3.45. Then 5am. Then 6ish and was up then and just wouldn't go back down. It's worse than when he was a newborn. I know he can't need this much actual milk but if I try and cuddle first and not offer he gets aggy and is desperately rooting for it.

He doesn't feed anywhere near as much in the day, has plenty of solids both finger foods and purées, he is teething if that can be related, exclusively breastfed still (will not take a bottle!)

Help! He does go down for a nap around 9.30/10ish that can last up to 3 hours but I've started waking him up a bit earlier to see if it will help. It was manageable when I could have that morning nap with him but the school holidays means my 4 year old is here and it's relentless. I'm running on empty.

Not entirely sure what my question was. My 4 year old never did this, he got easier with age whereas my second seems to be getting harder sleep wise!
