was told about this site by a friend so thought id introduce myself!
im a student nurse in edinburgh, started in october 07 so am now in week 4 of my first placement and im loving it. am on an acute medical ward and its fab, busy but fab - learning loads.
im gonna be 30 this year and have worked in loads of places, been to college twice before, got an SVQ level 2 in administration and then a few years later done and NC and HNC in childcare and education so was a nursery nurse. just didnt know what i wanted to do then decided to go for nursing, something id wanted to do since being at school but didnt think i would get into uni!
am a single mum to a gorgeous wee girl who will be 3 in june, find it a bit hard at times re childcare but mums helping loads and she goes to private nursery.
found out this week i passed all my exams, 3 with merit and one normal pass so am over the moon. was worrying about them.
