Should I pick 12 week old up if not crying

Hi all my 12 week old has started waking up from the last nap in the day (or the start of bedtime) and wiggling around in the crib making noises (but not crying). I’m torn between thinking I should pick him up immediately as soon as he wakes and offer a feed/let him play or just let him lay there wriggling until he eventually does cry at which point I pick him up. Sometimes he can wriggle for 30 minutes. He is EBF if that helps.

If he’s happy and you don’t want a cuddle, I’d let him be. A bit of wriggling is a good way to spend some time Wink.

If you’d like the cuddle then give him a squish.

I'd let him wiggle around for a while, he's probably getting some sensory feedback and practising moving around. If he's happy and content I wouldn't bother him unless you had to go out etc
