Baby is six months old and refuses a bottle, lookyto buy her a sippy cup to try milk in but no idea which is best, my previous DC had a munchkin 360 but he took a bottle. Should we try one with a straw or spout or another one

Both my bf babies started with a munchkin cup.

I had to see an infant feeding specialist at 8 months and she recommended tum tum tots for my bottle refuser. They are weighted straw cups but with no valve

I just used a tomme tippee free flow one. Worked a treat with both of mine including my youngest who refused bottles

Thanks, I think it'll probably be trial and error to find the right one for us! Wish there was somewhere you could go to try out cups and bottled and dummies, spent so much money and she won't take any!

We’ve used this too for EBF baby. Took her a bit of time but now she’s fine. I think these are recommended by nhs too. Well my HVs keep recommending them anyway

Following with interest as in same position with 5mo baby!

We used the doidy cup for my ebf baby, it's an open cup with handles. When he was confident with that, we then moved on to one of the Tommee Tipee weighted straw cups and he took to it no problem.

My daughter got in best with a Nuby grip n sip one with the soft teat bit. She was EBF and refused the bottle too. We also ended up giving formula in it as she would never drink expressed milk, only from me. A different drink was fine!

She’s almost 12 now but looks like they’re still doing them!

My EBF baby went straight to (heavily supervised!) Sips from an open cup straight away. You can get a Doidy cup which is a bit easier to start with.
