Hi, my sons 2.5 years old. He’s on the spectrum, just waiting for a formal diagnosis!

I’ve been advised to apply for DLA which you don’t need a diagnosis for but you do need supporting evidence from several professionals

only thing is, he’s not currently in nursery and hasn’t seen a paediatrician yet! He’s due to see the paed before Christmas though.

The only evidence I can submit is maybe his SOGS assessment, a health visitor report and a key worker report through a service called Malachi. Will this be enough?

what did you submit for your DLA?

Hi, yes I applied and got awarded middle rate for care! :) I sent off as much evidence as I had at the time, SOGS assessment, paediatrician reports when they came in. A letter stating he was being put on melatonin and a sleep diary @Shazzle88
