7yo DS always having issues with other boys

Hi, looking for some advice or explanation for this. I have a 7yo DS, typical lad into gaming/football/cars etc. DS seems to get into a lot of squabbles with other boys, always something insignificant but understandably it's important or a big deal to them but never seems to have these issues with girls and he usually tends to play with girls. DS also seems to play very differently with girls e.g is happy to just ride scooters around, play hide and seek, sit and chat etc whereas when he is with other boys it's all very noisy, competitive and hyped up and easy to see how disagreements can happen as they all want to be 'first' or 'win' or someone accidentally gets hurt or takes offence to something. DS is a lovely kid and doesn't seek to intentionally create issues but they just happen either through his words or actions (usually unintentional) or someone elses (e.g DS being particularly sensitive to something said or done to him but he still isn't like this with girls, seems to have a higher tolerance when it comes from a girl)
