Is it okay to cover 9 month old’s hands overnight to stop him from itching?

Just as above! He has conjunctivitis and he’s been rubbing and itching his eyes a lot which has made it worse. He also has developed a rash on his face from itching so much. He’s asleep now after I put socks on his hands to stop him from itching so much. Is this okay? Is there a risk of overheating? Should I take them off now that he’s asleep?

It's totally fine. Mine had bad eczema and I used to use socks too.

It's fine. Just ensure he is cool enough with other stuff like clothes and blankets etc.

If you need something longer term, Next used to do babygros with fold over sleeves. My eldest had eczema so we used them until he was about 2. Hopefully your little one is clear soon.
