I have 2 gorgeous boys with very different personalities.
I don't know if I'm reading too much in to it, but I'm worrying people favourite my youngest over the eldest.
The elder one is 3 and lovely, he's a deep thinker and quieter around people he's not that comfortable with. He has started pushing his brother about a bit and having strips, snatching etc.
The youngest one is also lovely, outgoing, affectionate, eats well. I of course see his moody side but that's neither here nor there.
We stayed with BF family this week and I just really felt comments being made were favouriting the youngest. Comments like, oh he's so happy all the time, he's such a good boy etc etc. I might also be overthinking as I know 100% they have a favourite grand daughter over her sister and that always upset me as the kids must know...they are older and in their early teens.
I'm conscious to make sure they both overhear nice comments, and that just because the eldest is shyer that that isn't a bad thing.
Does anyone have this battle, and how do you deal with it?
