Potty training while working

My DD is nearly 3 and we feel it's time to start potty training. We did try in the past but she wasn't ready so we have left it for a while until recently when she became interested in the potty again.

I've been looking online for some tips but I feel it's mostly aimed at parents who are stay at home or can take a holiday when they can. My work can't guarantee a holiday at a drop of a hat and my DH works full time so realistically it is down to me.

What's the best way to approach this? I can't stay in every day as she gets grumpy from staying in the house so park is always the best place to go. And I work 4 days a week so the days we have are the only days to go out places/shop

Right now we're using pampers day time training pants and placing her on the potty or the little toilet seat every 2 hours. Is there anything else I can try?
