Hi so just welcomed baby number 2 the most beautiful baby boy 🥰 however I seem To have forgotten much of what it was like from the first time around. So just looking for some advice/reassurance.

he was a big bub 9lb 4oz he will be 2 weeks tomorrow 🥰 but always I mean always seems to be hungry. He will take 90ml a feed most of his feeds with the occasional 120ml ( we offer 120mls most feeds as he has been draining the 90ml). He will often sleep 3ish hours throughout the days and we will sometimes have to wake him for a feed.

through the night however he’s up maybe every 1.5-2hrs chewing his hands etc so I’m assuming he’s hungry. Just wondering is this normal? To be this hungry? And does it settle? I understand he’s only 2 weeks also! I’m not expecting miracles nor is the lack of sleep an issue I’m just conscience that I don’t want to be over feeding him and causes any problems 😬TIA

Congratulations! I have a 7 week old DS (born 3 weeks early) he was a tiny 5lb 8oz and last week was still only 8lb 6oz however my little piggy drains 180mls every 3 hours in the day and that’s upped to 210mls every 4 hours at night. He was on 150ml but acted like I was starving him!

I was really worried about over feeding but the HV who weighed him last week just said to let him eat it if he will comfortable drink it, if it’s too much it will come back up. He’s only been a tiny bit sick once so I think he just needed it. He’s finally content between meals….I have no idea where he puts it all!
