Breastfeeding supply seems to have dropped off at eight months

Hi, hoping for some advice - I’ve been breastfeeding my DS for the past nine months very happily and easily, around eight months he really gained confidence in BLW and for a week or so seemed to lost interest in breastfeeding. We were on holidays so put it down to change in scenery. He became interested again but not to the same extent and recently I’ve noticed my supply is really low. He loves his food though. I’ve pumped over the months (not on a regular basis but frequently enough) and always got a good supply of milk - I would have had more than enough to feed my DS several times over while BF over the months. But now sometimes I feel he tries to feed and gets nothing. Or I pump and get a tiny dribble. I’m hoping to go on a hen party next month and am massively worried. Is pumping more regularly the only way to try and get some supply back? Isn’t he supposed to still drink a good amount of milk until he’s one? I’m a FTM so it’s all new to me.

Might you be pregnant?

Might you be pregnant?

This hasn’t been occurred to me but will dust off a pregnancy test and see!

Could you be pregnant?
It happened to me unexpectedly at 10mo. I wasn't pregnant but it's most common reason for supply drop I think.

My ds is still a milk monster and seems to want it more than when I had lots so will stay latched until it's painful for me and is definitely definitely empty.
He will be 2 next month and I am still breastfeeding with little supply. I try to limit >3pm so there's enough for him to fall asleep with at bedtime but he regularly runs across the room making a beeline for the boob. He gets frustrated and a lot of the time and also refuses dinner incase it means he can bf early

Just want to say that pumping doesn't indicate supply. It could just be that your body has adjusted to his new needs now he's weaning. Babe will be very efficient at feeding at 8months and as long as he's having enough wet and dirty nappies then I wouldn't worry at all.

i was honestly bricking it but no, not pregnant.

Thanks for the advice so far - maybe a silly thing but is the only way to go away for two nights and leave baby with DH to keep pumping as much as I can until I have enough? Or just stay home? I feel stupid asking as maybe it’s ridiculous to go but I’ve never been away from him overnight before.
