I'm a single mom of 6 year old boy, who is my world. Over the course of the last few months I've been through a very difficult time, became estranged from my dad, financial crisis, unemployment, bouts of depression. Now I don't know if it's because of my frame of mind and circumstances that I'm thinking this but I feel that the way my parents are towards me and how they grandparent my son is becoming toxic. They have been minding him a lot more for me through the holidays which I'm finding difficult as they constantly disrespect my boundaries, never initiate drop off times etc, they buy him lots, my dad doesn't even respond to my messages, if ever I raise my issues with them I'm shutdown straight away. My LO behaviour has changed a lot also over this time and says some questionable things, it's like he's turning into a mini version of my dad. Advice please.
