Help with using microfibre cloths as inserts!

Hi i have been using prefolds as inserts in my pocket napies which are fine in some but too bulky in others. Loads of people have recommended microfibre cloths instead but i was wondering how many should i put in each nappy? Also should i fold in 3 like a prefold ? Hoping to go to tescos today to get some as they had sold out last week!
Thanks for any advice

The ones I have are quite small but folded in 3 like a prefold, are just big enough to cover a Fuzzi microfibre pad. I use them as boosters rather than just by themselves. I got mine in Asda - £1 for a box of 3.

I use the tesco value microfibre cloths which are quite small 10 inches x 11 inches and very thin. You get three in a pack for 89p. I use mine to booster my shaped nappies (just one folded in three like a prefold makes a big difference). I have also used three folded into three inside a pocket nappy. It works well but it's not something I commonly do as I only have a few pocket nappies in use so not sure ultimately how reliable it is - it also would depend on what type of pocket nappy you are using. They move about a bit in Wonderoos and Fuzzis (due to small size), but are fine in Pocket Bots, Lollipops, and things with a relatively straight pocket IME.

I would have a look and see if you can get some bigger ones for a good price and try those too. Using the value ones you are going to spend 89p per boosted nappy but if you could find one bigger cloth for £1.50 then it might be worth trying that too to see what works best.
