on non nursery days:

7am (ish) - wake up
MilkGet DD changed and dressed
DD goes in to cot with toys while I shower

Play in sitting room until breakfast at 8:30ish

9:30ish- go out somewhere (park / library / stay and play group)

11-12ish Substantial snack / lunch in buggy then home for a sleep (as I'm PG I want to sleep with her, hence we whizz home!)

2:30ish play at home for a bit or off out again.

5:30pm dinner
6:30pm bath milk bed

7:30pm bath/bed by 8pm

She's just given up her second nap, so nap c. 12 for a couple of hours

Lunch c. 2.30

Dinner c. 7

Bath c. 8- 8.30, asleep by 9.

Feed a couple of times in the night - c. 2am and 6am today.

BF at various times during day.

Get up anytime beween 5:30-6:30.am

Get him dressed at 8am-ish

He eats, sleeps, plays all day.

I cook, creep around quietly, tidy up all day.

Goes to bed at about 7:30pm

TBH, there isn't really a routine here, we just take each day as it comes.

Mine's nearly 11 months old

7am - up and BF
8am - breakfast
Nap - very variable, depends if I'm out and about with dd but if we're at home he'll usually have one nap late morning for a couple of hours. Usually has a mid morning BF.

12.30ish - lunch
Mid afternoon - BF
5pm - tea
7pm - BF and in bed by 7.30pm I only do baths once a week or if the kids are particularly crusty-looking.

foxy - that helped at all????

foxy1 · 01/03/2008 23:30

Thanks cruisemum/everyone. It just shows how everyone has a completely different routine. my little boy does not have a morning sleep. he sleeps after lunch but sometimes he will only sleep for 30mins other times 2 hours. ot sure whether he is getting enough sleep in day. if he wakes at 7 should i be putting him for a nap earlier?
