what would you do?

i live in a village and have met another mum with a lo same age as mine [2.5] and we got talking and have met up every couple of weeks or so all fine but the problem is her lo is very boisterous and a bitrough i am trying not to be mean here so bear with me now my lo has not liked going for a while cos he always being pushed over and toys took off him etc [the mom does try and stop him ] and now this am we were supposed to meet ant i was talking to him about it and he said no * nasty i ahve always been positive about said child to lo but what would you do i hate confrontation and letting people down but i also get sad when lois constantly pushed around but then i keep thinking he will have to face this at school -anyone?

Yes hun he will have to face this at school. I have 2 sons,when the eldest was little he was like you lo and the youngest was like the other one. I can see both sides and it's heartbreaking having a kid who won't stop pushing. I took ds2 for cranial osteopathy because there were other things with him and it worked but obviously you can't mention this to the mum?
Maybe you could make it once a month? It'd be a shame for you not to meet if you enjoy her company. Or just be open with her and tell her how your lo reacts? She could maybe use the naughty step? Although then again advising can cause rifts.

Go. The other mother is aware of it and as long as both of you keep a close eye on behaviour while the other LO is going through this rough phase, then there will be no harm done. It is far better for you and your LO to have friends you can socialize with. Things will hopefully get better as the kids get older, and your LO will learn that there are many different types of people in the world.
