How many teeth 16 month old

My daughter is 16 months old and has 6 teeth, 4 top 2 bottom, it's been this way this good few months, just wondering at this stage should she have more teeth or is this normal for no new teeth in good few months

how long is a piece of string? I've know kids with none at this stage and kids with a nearly full set

My 17 month old is the same! Front bottom two popped through dead on 8 months old and the top 4 came through around 11-12 months old. He did get top premolars 2 months ago but absolutely nothing more on the bottom since 8 months old. I was starting to worry until literally this week a bottom lateral incisor has finally broken through.
They will come through when they’re ready and the ranges they give are just that.

My daughter had the same. She had 6 teeth for a long time. I randomly checked at 18 months and she had 10. Didn't even realised 4 teeth just came out so fast. She's 19 months now and got two more: total of 12 now.
For us, things speeded up around 16-17 months, so I wouldn't worry.
