My DD 2.5 and it's difficult trying to dress and brush her teeth, often I turn it all into a game e.g. picking her up from the lounge and pretending she's a plane flying upstairs to her bedroom to get dressed. Or I read a book whilst I brush her teeth. Sometimes I'm just very insistent.
It's mentally and sometimes physically draining.
I take the dog out every morning for her walk for half an hour (rain or shine) and I came back this morning, DD has only been dressed. No teeth done. This is typical of her dad, sometimes (like yesterday) I come back and he's done neither because she wouldn't apparently.
She's 2... how does he think I manage every day.
So please tell me how long it takes you to get your 2/3yo dressed and teeth brushed every morning, as apparently 30 minutes isn't enough for him and I manage fine, I just find it utterly draining dealing with all the micro battles with her all day every day and would appreciate it if he would take this one.
