Do they not give yo the Baby Book when you're pregnant anymore?

I have found my old Birth to 5, book from 2010. I also remember the pregnancy and newborn book that I read cover to cover many times. It got lost.

I'm now pregnant again and there is no such book given and no one I have spoken to seems to realise what I'm talking about.

I think it would help people a great deal considering some of the stuff I have read today.

I was told everything is electronic now. Gradually happening everywhere. When I was about 16 weeks with my son last year, they changed it - for my are anyway

I was told in 2012 that it had been discontinued.

Thats a shame, I was 15 when I was pregnant and that book had all of the information I needed.

They still give it out in NI, but it stopped for costs reasons in England a long time ago. I'm based in London but gave birth to my DC in Belfast and health visitors in London are always surprised and impressed that I have them.
