4 month sleep regression or just a bad couple of nights?

Morning!

FTM to DD who is 3 months old, wondering if she is going through the dreaded 4 month sleep regression (I’ve read that it can start from as early as 11 weeks) or if we’re just having a bad few nights.

DD had been a good sleeper for a while, sleeping 7.30 to 7.30 with just one feed at around 4am. She still falls asleep fairly quickly but will instantly wake when put in her next to me, it can take 3 attempts to put her down and for her to stay asleep. The night before last she woke at 2am, I knew she didn’t need a bottle so just had a cuddle and eventually she went back to sleep, woke again at 5 so gave her her usual feed, she then slept until 7ish.

Last night she was asleep by 8pm but woke at 11 grunting and straining (she pooed twice yesterday), I gave her a bottle in the hope she may sleep through until 7, she took the bottle (farted & burped!) but woke again at 1 and didn’t go back down until 3, she then woke again just before 6 grunting and straining and hasn’t gone back to sleep, just about to give her a bottle and start our day albeit very tired!

So from experience, is this the start of the regression or is this just an unfortunate few nights and a drop in the ocean for what’s to come?
