What randomness do your dcs come out with?

Walking down the road today:

Me: (looking up at black clouds) Ooh, I think it might rain today. What do you think, dd?

DD: (after a long and solemn pause) I think that dogs can do anything, mummy.

She got very annoyed with me when I couldnt' stop laughing...

Ah, ds has been doing this random thing a lot lately.

Last night at the dinner table, we were all in conversation (DP/DD and I) about something completely unrelated and DS comes out with

"I like monkeys and giraffes, but when the monsters are in the jungle I don't want to go there"

The other day we had "I've got all the monkeys I want"

I think he is slightly obsessed with Go, Diego, Go.

Went to parents evening at DS2's nursery last night. They keep a note of his random comments. Apparently one morning "Daddy cleaned his blue tractor before he went out ot work". We don't have a tractor.

Several of the teachers thought for weeks that we all live on a farm and were surrounded by farm animals.

We live in a cul-de-sac, in a town and DH is an accountant. We don't even have a pet.

My dd keeps asking if things are soft. We finally realised she is not being random, it's because we told her she is only allowed to throw things indoors if they are soft.
