FTM constantly just beating myself up for not being 'good enough'. Going on my phone too much and worrying the radiation may harm my baby, not socialising enough, stopping BF....baby seems happy but just seem to be hard on myself for very 'normal' things..anyone else?!

I think 99.9% of Mums feel this. “Mum guilt” it’s just engrained in us! All my friends who are the most loving and hands on Mums all say they feel it. Am I being too much of a helicopter mum….. or do I not play with them enough? Do they watch too much TV…… or am I being mean not letting them watch as much tv as their friends? Do we do too many activities……. Do we not do enough? Am I mean not letting them eat treats……. Do I give them too many treats? Am I good enough.
You have to remind yourself - do I love my kids and do the best I can? And if the answer is yes then try to ignore the mum guilt.

Constantly. Mine are teenagers now and I still feel this. Tbf my girls are lovely, polite, well behaved so I've obviously done something right, but I constantly feel that I'm not good enough, other mums do it better etc. Just do your best, it will be enough!

Hi there I struggle with this too but read up on "good enough" parenting - we don't have to be perfect. Apparently all a child needs is 10 minutes of your undivided attention to thrive xx
