Dd doesn't sleep

My dd is 2 and has suspected autism. She's non verbal and struggles to communicate. So no pointing etc
The last few weeks she just doesn't sleep. I have to get up at 4.45 for work every day but I've already been up for hours by this point. Last night she went to bed at 9pm. Got up at 1am and has now crashed at 7am. She ll probably sleep for a few hours before it starts again. I'm going out of my mind with worry and trying to think of ways to help her. She has spent hours rocking and bouncing. I know it's not her fault, she can't help it but what can I do to help her sleep a full night. I've tried night lights sleep sounds. Sleeping with her. Leaving her. Anybody have any ideas.? Thanks

How old do they have to be before you can use melatonin?

My child's paediatrician prescribed it when she was 3yo.

Unfortunately sleep issues are a feature of ASD, you should ask for a referral to a sleep clinic who can give you specific advice and strategies to use. As someone who works with children with ASD a lot of parents take turns doing the nights and ask extended family for help. Ensure their room is free from distractions and calm and mess free. Keep a good routine in place every evening
