14 month old suddenly struggling to settle

Reached my absolute limit today. Not DS's fault or cause. House is a complete bombsite (we have restoration work going on at the moment) I am fucking knackered after a stressful week at work (I do 5 days over 4 so my days are long and evenings usually I'm working) and DP hasn't helped AT ALL with DS this weekend and generally pissed me off so I'm at capacity
Anyway - not what I'm here for but needed that mini vent before I go on.

14 month DS is such a sweet thing. He's having mini meltdowns at the moment if I take a rock he's trying to eat off him or god forbid don't let him crawl up the stairs for the 100th time but usual toddler/baby drama.
His sleep is usually amazing but the last 4 nights he has been really struggling. He falls asleep just fine but constantly waking crawling/standing around the cot. I'm talking 7 plus times. I go in, put him down stroke his back and he goes off again just fine.

Thought teething? But he's fine as soon as I go in.
Separation anxiety maybe? He's absolutely fine all day though and often just toddles up to strangers to say hello

Any ideas??? I must say I don't mind. I've always been the go if they need you type and it works for us but thinking I'm missing something and the interrupted sleep is making him quite grumpy (understandably)
